Abbie’s Army is a charity dedicated to promoting awareness and raising vital funds for the medical research and treatment of Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma or DIPG/DMG the deadliest childhood brain cancer. Sadly, brain cancer claims the lives of more children than any other cancer type. Our mission is to RAISE awareness and contribute funding for DIPG research. DIPG affects 40 children a year in the UK with no direct Government funding, all research is supported by the parent led charities who have all lost a child to the disease.
