    Once installed every time you search for shops and products online, you’ll see our ‘giving’ heart next to participating retailers.  Clicking these retailers will raise a free donation for our Community Impact Fund when you make a purchase.

    Our Shop&Give Reminder is free and easy to install. It is 100% safe for your computer and we guarantee you will not receive any annoying advertising. We have over 2,500 shops participating, so have a wide range of shops for you to choose from.

    There is no need to set up an account or provide us with any details. We will not hold any data on you, everything will be annoymous. Once the Shop&Give Reminder is installed you can shop at leisure knowing that your online shopping is making a difference to your community.

    What is the Shop&Give Reminder

    The Shop&Give reminder sits quietly in your web browser (Edge, Firefox, Safari and Chrome) as an extension. When you search for products online, the purple heart icon highlights which shops will give for free via TheGivingMachine. And even if you don’t use a search engine, you’ll be notified if the shop is participating in TheGivingMachine, and prompted to give as you shop. It really is as simple as that.

    How do I use the Shop&Give Reminder

    Once installed, shop online as normal. You’ll see our heart icon next to participating shops. Select one of these shops and follow the on-screen prompts to ensure you raise a free donation.

    You can also sign in and manage your account by clicking on our heart icon in the menu bar at the top right of your screen.

    Will the Shop&Give Reminder run on my mobile device

    Our Shop&Give Reminder is for PC’s / Mac’s only but we have a Shop&Give app for Apple device users.  Just visit this link from your iPhone or iPad or this link from an Android phone.

    Can I uninstall the Shop&Give Reminder if I want to?

    Yes. It’s simple to uninstall the Shop&Give reminder. The steps you need to take depend on which browser you’re using. Chrome To uninstall the Shop&Give reminder from Chrome:

    1. Open the Chrome menu in the top right corner 
of the browser window and select Settings.
    2. Click the dustbin icon to remove the extension.

    FireFox To uninstall the Shop&Give reminder from Firefox:

    1. Open the Firefox menu and select Add-ons.
