Heart of England School
Heart of England School, Balsall Common opened in 1957 to serve the rural south east of Solihull. The school was built as a Secondary Modern for 500 students.
Today it is an oversubscribed academy school with 1350 students. Whilst many of the original features can still be detected around the school site, (most notably around the school hall) the school has expanded and adapted to meet the demands of the modern curriculum.
In addition to vibrant learning, eating and social spaces; the school has a flourishing library and active radio station: Fusion FM.
The school works in partnership with the local community and is proud to be home to the Centre Stage Theatre Company and 496 Squadron of the Air Training Corps as well as a range of Adult Education and leisure classes.
Yes, I am a UK tax payer and am happy for my donations to be gift aided.
The legal bit: You must be a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital
Gains
Tax in the current tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of your donations across all
Charities,
it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
TheGivingMachine reclaims 25p for every £1 you donate from the tax you pay for the current tax year so
we
can give even more away to causes you choose. If you change your name, address or tax status, please do
