Congleton Choral Society, a group of some seventy singers, presents a varied repertoire and is now in its 40th season of music making. The choir meets weekly on Monday evenings to rehearse. Besides learning and performing new music, the aim is to enable local residents to attend concerts of a high standard three or four times a year since professional soloists and orchestral musicians are employed to support the choir. We try to bring music to Congleton, of a kind and calibre generally found only in larger towns and cities, for the enjoyment of as many as possible.
