Bishops Stortford Canoe Club is volunteer-led kayak and canoe racing club on the River Stort Navigation on the Herts/Essex border. We have members of all abilities, including some as young as 8 and a number in their 70s. We offer taster sessions to anyone who would like to try the sport with a view to joining the club. BSCC maintains its own premises and a fleet of racing boats. The club is run entirely by the volunteer effort of its paddlers and their families, and is funded principally by membership subscriptions and grass-roots fundraising.
